Wild Weather Presentations

You might have heard about the presentations at in/on...

17 year old Austin Althouse gives his popular Wild Weather Presentations to area schools and churches. This presentation started when a 2nd grade teacher told him they were learning about weather and asked him if he would give a weather presentation to the 2nd grade. Austin had not made a or even thought about doing presentation but in the next 2 weeks he would make a presentation that would later become famous. In May of 2013, Austin emailed the video of his 1st weather presentation to KWCH-TV in Wichita, Kansas. A few days later he got an email back from Pilar Pedraza, a news reporter for KWCH. She wanted to interview Austin. After the story aired this very website got over 100 views and Austin got a few new subscribers to the somewhat dead weather alert service. In the following summer of that year, Austin would give a presentation to a weather summer school class in El Dorado and at a Baptist Church in Douglass. In October, Austin would give 2 presentation for his 6th grade science teacher. This presentation has made it into the USD 396 Newsletter, The Bulldog Growl and in the El Dorado, Kansas Times Newspaper. To request a presentation, please fill out the form to the left.

NOTE: THE PRESENTATION REQUIRES A SOUND SYSTEM AND A PROJECTOR. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE PLEASE LET US KNOW!

Notice Regarding Scheduling and Locations

As much as I would like to do my presentation every day to everyone, there are days where I can't give presentations due to school and other important things. Also, presentations will only given to schools in Butler, Sedgwick, and Cowley Counties in Kansas. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks!
